Not my best work.
A solo thesis exhibition about my own thoughts and encounters towards learning how to fail forward.
Not my best work is a solo exhibition that I designed, installed and held at Open Space Studio in Philadelphia. Throughout the exhibition I explore typography, sculpture, and graphic design, revolving around my very own thoughts and encounters towards failing forward. The work is charged by a blunt and humorous tone that is occasionally self deprecating and childlike. Pieces include a screen-printed tear away wall consisting of all of my old graphic design work. An 18ft handwritten message with an introspective narrative about a specific day in my life. Life size vinyl stickers of me cover the four outside windows of the gallery space, emphasizing my height.
